I am always excited to design a musical. For me, light designing for music is about visualizing the tone set through the score. With The Wild Party, I aimed to keep the vibe seductive, mysterious, and dramatic. Using vibrant blues and bright reds, I wanted to cast as many shadows as possible- filling the tight space and making this wild party seem almost claustrophobic.
