ANTIGONE

Antigone was the first piece that I both directed and designed for. Besides the obvious bit of extra work that I put on myself, I really enjoyed getting to design with such a clear understanding of the vision of the piece I was designing for. For this show, I created a very mechanical design to match the brutalist setting. With exposed equipment and harsh focuses, I wanted to push the idea that this is a story that will occur again and again for all of history.
